Kalimpong: CPM zonal committee members disrupted work for about one-and-half-hour at the local branch of the SBI on Thursday to protest against the “shabby service†given to customers after the introduction of core banking solutions.

This subject is long overdue.I didn’t look forward to deposit my kids’ school fees in SBI, Kalimpong. There is always a long queue of customers with hardly any room to move. Secondly, the indifferent behaviour of the staff towards customers is not keeping with the customer service principle. However, customer service in UBI , near motor stand is way better. Shame on SBI, supposedly the largest commercial Bank of India.The Manager of SBI, Kalimpong need to get off his butt and do some overhauling including keeping the building clean, the staircase leading to the Bank is disgusting. You need to clean up your house man.Shame on you.
